R&D Engineer will be responsible for developing and designing container-based construction system using the newest technologies to achieve a minimum environmental footprint. The system will be used for construction of a hospitality project in Georgia. You must be creative, resourceful and interested in researching and testing new engineering solutions. You should also have a good understanding of value engineering and process optimisation.

• Design & development of a new prefabricated housing system
• Research of available technologies / solutions
• Development of own solutions, in particular in terms of construction and materials
• Selection & customization
• of MEP solutions, focusing on sustainable technologies
• Communication with the providers of technologies / solutions
• Own system’s value engineering
• Remote cooperation with an international team 
• Reporting and delivering work products in English

 Ability to efficiently implement and manage digital tools:

• G Suite: Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides
• Project Management tools: Slack, Asana
• Architectural & engineering documents viewing tools

• Minimum 2 years of practical experience in construction engineering, higher education in the related field is and advantage
• Understanding of MEP design and familiarity with newest developments in technologies 
• Experience in metal processing is a plus
• Ability to freely communicate in English (speaking and writing)
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Availability to regularly travel abroad, short-term relocation is an option
